What we keep, and why

• When you book a repair: name, phone, email, your address if we need to collect the device, the model and the fault. We use this to carry out the repair and keep you updated.
• When you sell a device: name, contact details, address, IMEI or serial number, the condition of the device and your payout details (MobilePay number or bank account). We use this to buy the device, pay you and check that it hasn't been reported stolen. We don't keep any photos you take to identify your model.
• When you buy: name, delivery address, phone and email, so we can send you your order.
• When you become a partner: the details you enter on the sign-up form, so we can send you jobs.

Our legal basis is that we need the information to fulfil our agreement with you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)), that we must keep accounts under the Danish Bookkeeping Act (point c), and that we have a legitimate interest in preventing the trade in stolen devices (point f).

How long we keep it

We keep information about purchases, sales and payments for 5 years after the end of the financial year, because the Danish Bookkeeping Act requires it. We delete other information once the case is closed and no further claims can arise, usually after 3 years at the latest. We delete partner applications when you ask us to.

Who helps us

We use the suppliers below. They may only process your information on our instructions.

• Stripe (payments). Stripe receives your payment details directly. See Stripe's privacy policy.
• Hetzner (server in the EU), where the website and your information are stored.
• Cloudflare (secure connection to the website).
• Resend (sends emails to you).
• ntfy (sends a message to our phone when you book or sell).
• Anthropic (identifies your model from a photo, if you choose to take one, and translates the website). The photo is not stored.
• Spare parts suppliers, who may send the part straight to you. They receive your name and delivery address.
• Couriers, who receive your name, address and phone number to deliver the parcel.
• Partner repairers. If one of our approved repairers carries out your repair, only that repairer receives your name, phone, email and address, so they can arrange a time with you. They may not use the information for anything else.

Some of them are located outside the EU, for example in the USA or China. Data is transferred under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Cookies

We only use necessary cookies: one that remembers your language, one for our own admin page, and one that keeps partner repairers logged in. We don't use any cookies for advertising or statistics. The website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which can see your IP address.

Your rights

You can ask at any time to see, correct or delete your information, to receive a copy of it, or to object to how we use it. Write to [email protected]. We'll reply within one month.
